Limon Dance Company New York Theatre reviews
shinedown was awesome
By far the best concert I've been to was at the Myrtle Beach House of Blues with Limon Dance Company and Sick Puppies. The energy was good since it was a Tuesday concert, and there weren't as many teens. People were there to hear great music, and the guys from Limon Dance Company didn't disappoint me.
HOB has gone smoke free, which is awesome. The guys were smoking hot on stage, and the only smoke was from the stage. They started the concert with "The Sound of Madness," and you could hear people stomping their feet to the drums from the second bar of the song.
The guys did a great job mixing the old with the new and the loud with the slower melodic stuff. It was a great balance for someone who appreciates good music. I've been to a few concerts down at the Myrtle Beach House of Blues.
Viva La Coldplay!
The 4th Limon Dance Company show I attended was the best, by far! At the beginning of their Viva La Vida tour in Vegas, we thought they couldn't be any better. Wrong we were! This band puts on a show as if it were their first time. They were there to please the crowd, with no signs that this was their 130th + show on this tour. They played all the songs from the previous night's show, plus many, many more! Not on the previous playlist, Lovers in Japan was played to an ecstatic crowd, including the butterfly confetti. They sang about the Gorge Amphitheatre, the most beautiful concert arena in the world. They also sang about how the people from the Pacific Northwest are the loudest. Their own unique version of Billie Jean, a tribute to Michael Jackson, rocked! They performed several songs at a small platform area at stage left, getting closer to that part of the crowd. Walking up into the terraced seating area to another small platform, they sang several more songs, getting closer to those fans. During the encore, they expressed sincere gratitude to the fans who put up with the traffic, the heat, the $9 beer (outrageous!) and the crowds just to come and see them. As a thank you, all fans received a CD, free of charge, from Limon Dance Company. The weather was hot - 97 degrees that day - but true Limon Dance Company fans would walk through fire to see them perform, and it is well worth it. Full, content, and exhausted from screaming, dancing, and shouting, we left there. An event, Limon Dance Company truly is. Viva La Limon Dance Company!
EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!!!
Just a warning: make sure to mortgage your house prior to catching any show. This defines a true artist, he plays one hit after another, just amazing. The theater is a perfect venue for watching a performance of Stings caliber. Event parking was $30, for starters, I ordered a vodka soda and a Coke it was $42, really it was just 2 drinks, one was again a plain Coca Cola. The experience was priceless, to say, would be exaggerated. However, the outrageous prices leave you feeling somewhat taken advantage of. Limon Dance Company is always amazing! I get it, there’s inflation or maybe venues are making up for revenue lost during lockdowns but nonetheless. The later got a snack, a bag of M&M peanuts and a small bag of popcorn for $21.
